Fun in Celo, NC

The South Toe river - cold but so nice!

Dad and his HOB (hunk of beef).

Diane blows out her birthday candles on the 4th of July.

Burnsville, NC Farmer's Market - nice selection of fresh produce, baked goods, cheeses and meats.

Cute signage.

I lived on the outskirts of Durham, NC for a while, with a creek that ran behind my apartment at the time. My daughter was born there. The memories these pictures bring (particularly the trees and the water).

Looks like so much fun! Love the chicken sign :) Your mention of Tupelo Honey brings back memories of my trip to Asheville. Such a nice place.

That picture of your dad sums up just about every fourth of july I've had. Fantastic americana.
